On Thursday 27th February 2020, Levett Consultancy undertook its 10th annual customer event showcasing the changes in classroom technology over the past 10 years. Our CEO Paul Levett opened the event by explaining the fast pace changes in technology from 2010 until now, with schools now looking to adopt cloud platforms and working towards becoming less reliant on servers with a view to being completely serverless. Paul explained the move to full cloud infrastructure is absolutely possible, but there needs to be a strategy in place with everyone in the organisation on board working to the same vision.

Paul further explained, based on the past 10 years of implementing digital transformation for schools and business, Levett Consultancy has created a simple to follow strategy called ‘Your Cloud’ that provides all the necessary building blocks to transition successfully from servers to using cloud platforms. Customers who have adopted Levett Consultancy ‘Your Cloud’ approach have seen savings of up to nearly 60% within their IT budgets, meaning the savings can be diverted elsewhere to use within other areas that need more investment.

To prove how transparent a successful transition can be using the cloud, Levett Consultancy ran the entire event using only Google G Suite and Microsoft Azure. All presentations and demonstrations were completed using the Levett Consultancy solution, which went seamlessly throughout the day.
