Carbon Reduction Plan
Commitment to Achieving Net Zero
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

This baseline represents our first calculation of the carbon footprint of the organisation, only the required Scope 3 emission categories have been measured in this reporting period. |

Emissions reduction targets
The organisation is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 at the latest. We will keep this date under review, bringing it forward if possible as our carbon reduction plans develop.
Progress against these targets can be seen in the graph below:

Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed:
- The organisation achieved Green Small Business Certification in December 2024, having developed an environmental policy and comprehensive action plan addressing all of the significant environmental impacts of the business.
- We operate a hybrid working model, which reduces emissions from staff commuting.
- We facilitate access to low carbon vehicles for our staff.
- Reduction in office energy usage by ensuring all equipment used is energy star rated meeting Government latest carbon reduction standards.
- Ensuring carbon reduction is central to all of our solutions by delivering and supporting cloud services.
- This includes transitioning customers from energy inefficient on premises technology to efficient cloud-based technology.
- Reducing the need for traditional on-site IT support with efficient off-site remote support services which will lower carbon emissions caused by travel, where tasks will be undertaken remotely and resolved more efficiently saving time, money and help reduce carbon for a greener planet.
- Reduction in business meeting travel by using video conferencing as a primary means of communication with customers where appropriate.
- Where travel is still required, we will only use energy efficient public transport or electric vehicles.
- Secure internal and client WEEE/Recycling under ISO 14001 best practices.
- Levett Consultancy partners with TES for the ethical reuse or disposal of internal IT equipment.
Planned Carbon Reduction Initiatives
Our environmental action plan commits us to the implementation of further measures which we anticipate will reduce the carbon intensity of the business, such as:
- Implementing a ‘use of transport’ policy to ensure that emissions from business travel are consistently low.
- Facilitating access to low carbon vehicles for our staff.
- Ensuring environmentally responsible purchasing for all goods and services.
- Providing our staff with information on environmentally responsible behaviour whilst working remotely and facilitating good practice.
Declaration
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors. A copy of our Carbon Reduction report is available for download here. Our certificate is also available here.
