Armed Services Covenant

As an active member of the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), we have been awarded the Silver Armed Services Covenant award by demonstrating our support to defence and the armed forces community and our aligned values with the Armed Forces Covenant. We are recognised as an employer who supports the armed services community by working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) to help service personnel and their families transition from service life to civilian life. Through our community programme, we offer service personnel and their families work placements with ourselves to help provide them with the necessary skills and experience to start a new career in the technology sector. Working alongside our community partners we also able to provide discounts to partner events through the Defence Discount Service.

SME Climate Hub

With climate change already impacting societies and the global economy, urgent action is needed to address the risks posed by rising global temperatures. Stabilising this rise to a maximum of 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels is critical. Levett Consultancy is committed to playing its part. As a proud member of the UK Government SME Climate hub, we join businesses aiming to halve carbon emissions by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2050. Our Carbon Reduction Plan outlines our specific contributions. Our core business as a cloud technology specialist directly facilitates emission reductions by moving clients from inefficient on-premises hardware to sustainable Cloud Platforms. We believe in these direct actions to create genuine environmental improvements, as opposed to carbon offsetting, which fails to address the root cause.

Community Investment & Education

We believe that investing in education is a direct investment in the future of our local economy. A core part of our social value commitment is our ongoing partnership with Suffolk New College and Chelmsford College. By donating equipment and providing crucial resources, we ensure students are trained using industry-standard technology. This empowers the next generation of IT professionals with the expertise they need to thrive in our community and beyond.

Through our "Our "Classroom to Career" Pathway" commitment, we provide a structured work placement pathway for T-Level students, offering a clear route from education into the workforce. This initiative allows high-performing students to transition into Apprenticeships and progress toward full-time employment within Levett Consultancy. Through these partnerships, we are proud to build lifelong careers and secure a sustainable future for the regional tech sector.

Living Wage

The Living Wage campaign is an independent movement of businesses, organisations and people who believe a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay. Employers choose to pay the real Living Wage on a voluntary basis - it provides an ethical benchmark for responsible pay. Levett Consultancy is proud to be recognised as a Living Wage employer who invests in local staff and pays wages which meet everyday needs - like the weekly shop, or a surprise trip to the dentist.
