The Inspiration Trust invited approved education companies to submit their proposals on what an effective consistent communication system would look like. As a local company supporting schools in Norfolk we submitted a proposal based on G Suite For Education that is based upon G Suite for Education tools along with unlimited storage space.

After Levett Consultancy was successfully selected to deliver the project, our Consultancy service worked with the Inspiration Trust appointed a project manager to ascertain what each of the Inspiration Trust 13 Academies was using and how much data was required to be migrated. During the data collection phase, our Technical Service team implemented a multi-domain G Suite for Education solution to support all current and future academies. Once Levett Consultancy had the relevant information for each Academy communication system the Technical Service team undertook data migration for over 1000+ accounts (email, contact and calendar data) from across the trust’s academies; moving from a multitude of differing email systems into G Suite for Education.

When the data migration was completed and the end users confirmed data was successfully migrated, Levett Consultancy then configured Google Groups to allow Inspiration Trust staff to send email/share documents with groups of staff and pupils. The next phase of the project saw Levett Consultancy configure and deploy CloudPages management tools, to ensure all Inspiration Trust email signatures are consistent and can be managed by the Inspiration Trust central ICT team. Levett Consultancy also deployed LucidChart and LucidPress applications to sit alongside Google core applications and provide all the productivity tools the Inspiration Trust Academies would need.

The final phase saw Levett Consultancy develop an application launcher for Inspiration Trust and sub launcher sites for Academies. The launcher allowed users can quickly jump to the targeted applications they use within each Academy. To ensure positive outcomes and confidence in using G Suite for Education, Levett Consultancy undertook training for key contacts and has run a number of follow-up sessions.
