The Requirement
Lincewood Primary School implemented Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Sophos Cloud over the past few years. However, their Digital Transformation strategy involves transitioning to a cloud environment focused on Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. A recent cloud health check, conducted by Levett Consultancy's optimisation services team, revealed that these systems required updating and configuration to meet DfE and National Cyber Security Centre standards.
The Solution
Levett Consultancy's project team worked with Lincewood's Primary school leadership to create a delivery plan to implement the assessment's findings. Once agreed, the project team reconfigured over 500 settings across the cloud platforms to ensure compliance with industry standards. Following this, the team undertook a month of snagging, where any reported issue was logged and addressed, creating a secure environment built for Lincewood Primary School.
The Outcome
Lincewood Primary School now has the foundations in place for the next phase of its digital transformation journey. The school is confident that its Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Sophos Cloud platforms are correctly configured and secure for use within the school environment. Furthermore, having systems configured to industry standards reduces the IT support administrative overhead and improves productivity through a more efficient user experience.
