Our Consultancy services worked with Paradigm Trust directors and senior staff to undertake a technology review of the new building and previous temporary school location. To complicate matters the temporary location only had limited life span. The review ascertained the compatibility of the equipment located at a temporary location to see what can be used within the new building. During this period our Consultancy service also works with the Education Funding Agency (EFA) and appointed construction company to ensure the correct ICT infrastructure was being put in place to support the required Paradigm Technology blueprint.

Once the review was accepted by the Paradigm Trust board our Consultancy service arranged to de-cant the suitable equipment from the temporary location before the closure. The review recommends using a Microsoft solution based on Windows 2012 Hyper-V technology and D-Link wireless solution using 802.11ac 3×3 technology. Due to
the tight deadline of getting all technology in place on time, on schedule our Professional Services team, configured the equipment at our development offices.

In late August our Technical service team started deploying the local network infrastructure switches wireless-based upon D-Link xStack and 802.11ac wireless technology. Then our Technical service team deployed:

• A Built to Order (BTO) Fujitsu server with Microsoft 2012 Server Hyper-V technology
• Creation of a virtualised domain controller and admin SIMS server
• Installation and deployment of Impero Education Pro
• Add client devices to the network domain

By using Microsoft 2012 Server Hyper-V technology Solebay Primary Academy is able to consolidate hardware, lower energy costs and create resilience. The final part of the project was to enable Solebay Primary Academy to link with the Paradigm Trust  G Suite for Education platform.
