Essex Leopard Tosin Oyelese Teaching

Early in March the Levett Essex Leopards undertook a basketball training session for gifted and talented pupils at Wood End Academy, as part of our Community Program Leopards for Life. Tosin Oyelese coach and forward for the Levett Essex Leopards ran a 2-hour basketball session covering basketball basics and healthy living.

A few days after the training session Wood End pupils entered their first Basketball competition at Brentside High school and finished third out of the 47 schools who entered, just missing out on representing Ealing at the London Youth School Games Finals in July. Warner Stainbank Head Teacher commented “this was an excellent achievement for Wood End pupils and the Academy is very proud.”

The Levett Essex Leopards are proud to support Wood End Academy and help the academy towards achieving the Sainsbury’s School Games Mark Gold Level.
