On Thursday 23rd April 2015 Brian Cox O.B.E, physicist and professor of particle physics officially opened the expansion of Stebon Primary School. The new two-story building is the first Passivhaus certified super energy efficient and user friendly school building in London.
Levett Consultancy worked alongside Bouygues UK and Tower Hamlet Local Authority to deliver an ICT infrastructure that brought the existing building together with the new two-story building. This involved delivering a new wireless and switching infrastructure that was energy efficient and future proofed based upon our Wireless ina School solution.
The end result is Stebon Primary School can now meet the increasing demand of a growing population as a three-form entry school. Whilst also being confident the infrastructure in place will support current and future learners across both buildings.
